I am always trying to challenge myself narratively. In recent years I’ve begun to tell stories live on stage at events such as The Moth, StorySlam Oakland, Alameda Storyslam, and others.
This story was developed mid-pandemic and forms the basis for a feature length screenplay that I am now developing.

AWARD WINNING WORK
In 2004, I made “Child Psychology”, a fourteen minute short which screened at festivals throughout the US and received several awards and accolades.
Made during the wave of “DV cinema”, I shot this film with innovative camera methods and leveraged my resources at The Orphanage to complete visual effects and digital finishing.
The film featured sound design and mix provided by Skywalker Sound, and original score by Andre Moran and Noelle Hampton.

Before any of these were “a thing”, I leaned into the limitations of a standard definition camera by rotating it 90 degrees, filming the same set of action three times, and then stitching these passes together to creating a concept spec which highlighted the interdependence of humanity.
